About Core Dynamics Fitness & Nutrition
Services
Core
Dynamics Fitness & Nutrition Services is a
private fitness studio established in 2004 to
provide small group fitness training,
spinning, personal training and nutrition
management. I am owner and sole proprietor.
With a BS in nursing and as a nationally
certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner,
I have had 25 years experience in Ob/GYN
medicine. This makes me unique as a fitness
trainer. My practice is evidenced based both
in medicine and in fitness. I have worked at
the Women’s Hospital of Greensboro Maternity
Admissions Unit for 9 years. I stay current
on the latest research related to Women’s
Health issues and fitness issues and often
relate the two when working with female
clients.
I have been in the fitness industry since
1985 and am a certified group fitness
trainer through the American Council on
Exercise. I received my personal trainer
certification through American Fitness
Professionals Association and I am a
certified Nutrition Specialist through
Lifestyle Management Associates. I have
provided professional services to many local
area health clubs and worked as Program
Director and Manager for one of the city’s
largest fitness facilities where I was
responsible for planning and implementing
many of the club’s programs and special
events.

I have had a special interest in prenatal
fitness and have implemented several
prenatal programs at Greensboro area
hospitals and health clubs. I have presented
nutrition and fitness related topics
sporadically throughout my career but my
true passion is bringing fitness knowledge
to men and women teaching them the
importance of fitness as the key to quality
of life, longevity and health maintenance. I
have worked with the beginner exerciser and
have trained and coached highly fit
individuals including runners, cyclists and
triathletes.
Core Dynamics is a private, noncompetitive
setting where people may choose to work out
one-on-one with me or in a small group where
the number of people is never more than 10.
My experience has proven that motivation and
accountability are greater in a small group
where people form bonds, sharing a common
goal.
